A raw, disturbing yet inspiring story to read.

This candid, true-life account is a heartwarming and inspirational story about a little girl whose family failed her.

Denise was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1960. By the time she was five, she had been molested by several family members. At the age of 11, her mother introduced her to an environment overridden with drugs, sex and crime. By age twelve, Denise was shooting up heroin, committing robbery and stealing cars in order to support her drug habit. This lifestyle went on for about fourteen years.

In 1986 at age 26, Denise met the Lord Jesus Christ who gave her a second chance and rewrote her destiny. Upon changing her lifestyle and connecting with positive people, Denise overcame the adversities controlling her life.

I purchased a digital copy of this book. And when I started reading it, I didn't know what to expect. Having known Denise Jones for less than a year, I couldn't imagine what type of experiences she had gone through. Her story is gritty and raw and invasive. The story is candid and honest in a way that motivates you to quickly read through the book.
This storytelling specifically in regards to her mom does a great job of set up for the book. We don't just learn about her story, we learn why her story happened. We learn who she once was and we learn what type of person she turns into.
The story really do you have elements of everything. There were moments where I laugh and I cried. And it motivates extreme emotions, we are one moment you highly identified with the main character and sometimes you are painfully concerned.

This book was a very powerful read. Someone with a story like Denise's needs to be heard all over the world. What she has been through and how she has managed to turn her life around is nothing short of amazing. God has truly blessed Denise and I'm so happy that she was so willing and able to share her story.
Awesome, awesome, awesome true life story of the transforming power of God and what a person can achieve when thy set their mind to change.
The title is right on. This woman has overcome so many generational curses and it's a testament to how much God really loves us that he would even give her another chance after all she had done and gone through. This book is a must read for anyone who feels that can't make it. Who said it couldn't Be done. Denise Jones is a overcomer.
I just finished reading "Who Said It Couldn't Be Done" and I loved it. If I could describe the book in one word I would say Encouraging. This book gives hope to sinners that God can use the worst of the worst to bring glory to his name. This book is a must read. Thank you God for being a deliverer.

Excellent book....A must read, Life changing!! Can't wait for the movie!!!
Denise spares no words. Her images are as real as the life-story she tells. The story is probably a template of many who experienced similar life tragedies. But her story offers a perfect ending for anyone trapped in the vices of this world. Her story gives reason to believe that how a story starts does not dictate how it must end. Who said it could't be done...It surely was not Denise.
This is an excellent book. When I read the book, I cried and I laugh. Since I am from Chicago, I could actually visualize the neighbor hoods. Although I believe that there is a story in everybody, this is one of the stories that should be made into a movie.

What is so amazing is to see that both the mother and daughter turned their lives over to God, after searching high and low and couldn't find nobody.Nobody Greater than Jesus. This story is an inspiration to those in similar circumstances.
